Winnetka Police Blotter: Water Balloon Battery, Invalid Driver's Licenses, Warrant

April 7
Balloon Battery: Three juveniles hit a person with a water balloon while the victim was riding his/her bike on Green Bay Trail about 6:30 p.m. found the three juveniles, who matched the victim's description, near the area. They admitted to throwing the balloons, but the victim chose not to pursue any charges.

April 8
Assist Outside Law Enforcement Agency: Police discovered that a 26-year-old from Chicago was charged with an in-state warrant from the DeKalb County Sheriff's Police. The discovery came while police were investigating an occupied vehicle parked at 1:13 a.m. in the 400 block of Ash Street. The 26-year-old posted bond and was released.

Invalid Driver's License: A 28-year-old man from Evanston was charged with driving without a valid driver's license at 7:23 a.m. in the 700 block of Elm Street. Police also cited him for disobeying a red light. His court date is May 9.

Invalid Driver's License: A 27-year-old man from Highland Park was charged with driving without a valid driver's license at 4:20 p.m. at the corner of Green Bay Road and Tower Road. Police also cited him for disobeying a red light and for not having valid insurance. The charges followed a traffic crash investigation. His court date is May 1.
