Winnetka Police Blotter: DUI, Theft, Suspended Driver's License

April 25

Suspended Driver's License: A 30-year-old man from Chicago was charged with driving with a suspended driver's license in the 500 block of Green Bay Road at 4:02 p.m. also cited him for improper lane usage. His court date is June 12.

April 27

Suspended Driver's License: A 31-year-old man from Northfield was charged with driving with a suspended driver's license in the 600 block of Sheridan Road at 3:36 p.m. Police also cited him for passing by a stopped school bus that was unloading children. His court date is June 12.

April 28

DUI: A 40-year-old man from Joliet was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at the corner of Willow Road and Chestnut Street at 12:13 a.m. Police also cited him for speeding. His court date is May 25.

April 29

DUI: A 23-year-old woman from Chicago was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol in the 200 block of Sheridan Road at 1:26 a.m. Police also cited her for improper lane use, speeding, illegal transportation of alcohol and driving an uninsured car. Her court date is June 12.

Theft: A resident in the 400 block of Provident Avenue reported to police that someone took a red Kettler Aero Tire Pedal Car from the home's front yard about 3:15 p.m. The estimated loss is $211.
