Winnetka Police Blotter: Burglary, Theft, Drugs and Traffic Arrests

The following information was supplied by the Winnetka Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

LAST WEEK:

Jan. 16

Burglary: Someone damaged the padlock of a door leading to a basement storage area on the 900 block of Green Bay Road sometime between Jan. 15 and Jan. 16. do not know if anything is missing and repair costs are not known at press time.

Theft: Someone reported $20 missing from a desk drawer sometime on Jan. 12 on the 900 block of Green Bay Road.

Jan. 17

Criminal damage: A victim reported that someone had damaged his windshield at a cost of $250.

Jan. 18

Possession of cannabis and drug paraphernalia: A 19-year-old male from Northbrook was charged with possession of cannabis and drug paraphernalia, as he had a glass pipe, at 12:16 a.m. on the 1000 block of Green Bay Road. Police also cited him for speeding. His court date is Jan. 24.

Traffic arrest: A 20-year-old female from Chicago was charged with driving without a valid driver's license at the corner of Rosewood Avenue and Willow Road at 10:53 p.m. Police also cited her for driving without a rear registration light. Her court date is Feb. 8
