Winnetka Police Blotter: Traffic Arrest, Burglary, Criminal Damage

LAST WEEK:
Jan. 19
Suspended driver's license: A 51-year-old Winnetka resident was charged with driving with a suspended driver's license at 130 Sheridan Road at 8:11 p.m. Police also charged him with driving a car that did not have a Baiid device, or a breath alchohol ignition interlock device, and for driving a car without taillights. His court date was Jan. 20.

Criminal damage: A victim reported that someone damaged an entrance doorway on the 500 block of Lincoln Avenue between Jan. 18 and Jan. 19. Whoever tried to open the door was unsuccessful at entering, police said.

Jan. 21
Burglary: A victim reported at 10:22 a.m. that someone took a saw, garage heater and power drill sometime on Jan. 21 on the 700 block of Hibbard Road.

No valid driver's license: A 35-year-old Chicago man was charged with driving without a valid driver's license at 4:45 a.m. at 500 Green Bay Rd. in Kenilworth. Police also cited him for lack of valid registration. His court date is Feb. 16.

DUI: A 23-year-old Des Plaines man was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. Police cited him for a blood alcohol concentration above .08 and for improper lane usage. His court date is March 15.
