Cannabis - A 23-year-old man from South Holland, Ill. was cited for possession of cannabis, failure to signal and illegal transportatin of alcohol at 754 Elm St. His court date is Jan. 5.

Assistance - A 20-year-old woman from Calumet City was arrested for an in-state warrant issued by Elgin for failure to appear on traffic charges at 754 Elm St. Elgin confirmed the warrant, and she was taken to the . The charge followed a traffic stop. Her court date is Dec. 19.

Dec. 1

Theft - A victim reported two missing packages from her front porch on the 300 block of Forest Street in Winnetka. She said she saw the packages about 7:20 p.m. on her porch, and when she went outside to get them about 15 minutes later, they had gone missing. Total loss is $393, and items include one pair of gray colored, women's Cole Haan "Air Whitley" boots, kids' moonlight and khaki colored, "North Face Nuptse" fur boots.

Dec. 2

Cannabis - An 18-year-old Winnetka man was cited for unlawful possession of cannabis at 299 Sheridan Rd. in Winnetka. His court date is Jan. 13.

Cannabis - A 17-year-old girl from the New Trier Township was cited for unlawful possession of cannabis at 299 Sheridan Rd. in Winnetka. Her court date is Jan. 13.
