Robbery, Theft and Criminal Damage: Winnetka Blotter

May 18
Robbery: An employee reported to that an unknown male entered Creme de la Creme, at 903 Green Bay Rd. in Hubbard Woods. The male displayed a knife, demanded cash and left. The loss is $240.

Theft: A person reported to police that at about 9:25 a.m. on May 17 someone took an unlocked black Apple iPhone 3GS from the Health Services Office at 385 Winnetka Ave., where New Trier High School is located. The loss is $50.

Criminal Damage: A police officer found that someone defaced the concrete bridge supports in the 800 block of Green Bay Trail with black marker and chalk between 8 a.m. on May 18 and 9 a.m. on May 19. The public works department was notified to remove the markings, and the repair cost is $150.

Theft: A person reported to police that between 10 p.m. and 10:05 p.m. on May 18, someone took her unlocked bicycle from the west side of the store at 88 Green Bay Rd, where 7-Eleven is located. She described the bike as a red, boys Schwinn 24-speed with a 15-inch frame and an attached light on the handle bars. The loss is $300.
