Glencoe Blotter: Burglary, Traffic Incidents, Public Intoxication

The following arrest information was supplied by the Glencoe Public Safety Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Dec. 30
Criminal damage: An employee of the business Pascal Por Elle on the 300 block of Park Avenue reported that someone damaged a brown shoulder bag and a North Face jacket at the store between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. There was an estimated $450 worth of damage.

Jan. 1
DUI: A 20-year-old female from Milwaukee, WI, was stopped for speeding at 2:52 a.m. at the corner of the Edens Expressway and Tower Road. Her court date is Feb. 24.

Public intoxication: A 22-year-old female from South Milwaukee, WI, was charged with public intoxication. She was a passenger in vehicle with the 20-year-old charged with a DUI. While waiting for the driver to be released, the 22-year-old repeatedly kicked and pounded the walls in the police station. She disrupted 911 communications, according to police. Her court date is Feb. 16.

Jan. 2
Burglary: Someone entered the rear window of a home on the 300 block of Adams between 9 a.m. on Dec. 16 and 11:30 a.m. on Jan. 2. Police believe the burglary is related to a string of burglaries that happened between Dec. 20 and 21. The victim reported a missing 30-year-old Seico watch.

Jan. 3
Driving on Suspended License: A 23-year-old male from Calumet City was charged with driving on a suspended license at 11:12 p.m. on I-94 southbound at Dundee Road. He was also charged with speeding, going 83 mph in a 55 mph zone. His court date is Feb. 24.

Jan. 4
Speeding: A 20-year-old male from Skokie was charged with driving 91 mph in a 55 mph zone at 1:23 a.m. on I-94 southbound at Dundee Road. His court date is Feb. 24.
