DUI, Burglary, Traffic Incidents, Fake ID: Glencoe Police Blotter

April 28

Suspended Driver’s License: At 11:21 p.m. near Dundee Road and Pebblewood Drive, police stopped a 58-year-old male from Highland Park for failure to dim his headlights, driving an uninsured car and driving with a suspended driver’s license. He posted a $2,000 d-bond, and his court date is June 11.

May 4

Misrepresentation of Age: According to police, at 10:47 p.m. a 17-year-old male from Winnetka tried to buy alcohol with a false Wisconsin driver’s license at 7-Eleven, 107 Green Bay Rd. Police cited him and released him to his parents.

May 5

Residential Burglary: In the 700 block of Bluff Street, a resident reported that she came home to find a man in her home. When she talked with him, she questioned why he was in her bedroom. He said he was there for an appointment to service her boiler. When she went back to her bedroom, she said some jewelry boxes had been emptied. Police are investigating the situation. Police also said entry was made through a window. The estimated loss is $2,500.

May 6

DUI: At 2:54 a.m. a 36-year-old female from Chicago was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol going southbound on Green Bay Road from Park Avenue. Police also charged her with improper lane usage and no valid driver’s license. She posted a $3,000 bond, and her court date is May 25.

May 8

Suspended Driver’s License: At 5:51 a.m. in the 700 block of Dundee Road, a 26-year-old male from Boynton Beach, Fla. was charged with speeding and driving with a suspended driver’s license. He posted a $1,500 i-bond, and his court date is June 11.

May 11

Criminal Damage: Near Sheridan Road and Scott Avenue, someone defaced a speed limit sign with blue spray paint, police said. The approximate damage cost is $50.
