Updated Sunday 11 a.m.:
TribLocal is reporting that the medical examiner's office has tentatively identified the body as Harvey Caplin.
A body found Saturday morning near the Edens spur ramp may
be Harvey Caplin, a Glencoe man who has been missing since January,
according to an article in TribLocal.
A landscaping crew in Northbrook found the body around 10 a.m., the article states. The body’s clothing match what Caplin was said to be wearing when he went missing.
Caplin, 82, has dementia. He was reported missing Jan. 21 and the last known sighting of him was near the Edens spur. The winter’s heavy snow made the search for him difficult at times.
