Police Resume Search for Missing Glencoe Man

Now that the snow is melting in places, Glencoe public safety officers have resumed their search for 82-year-old Harvey Caplin, who went missing in January, according to TribLocal.

Caplin lives in the 800 block of Forestway Drive and was possibly wearing a black leather jacket, white t-shirt and dark blue running pants, according to the initial alert from the public safety department. He has dementia and may not be able to talk.

Officers were out this weekend, walking through backyards and along roadsides where there was enough of a thaw to see the ground for the first time in months, the TribLocal story said.
