Candy Canes and Coffee: Santa Visits Winnetka for Breakfast

With Santa's star power, the weekend event sold out several days in advance.

Can you say ho-ho-hotcakes? Santa made an early appearance in Winnetka on Saturday morning at the  (WCH) with the event, Breakfast with Santa.

Families celebrated the holiday season with crafts, a breakfast buffet and the requisite photo opp with Santa.

The community house, which recently hosted a haunted house and an antiques show, is home to a community fitness center, Children’s Theatre of Winnetka, and non-profits such as the Winnetka Youth Organization.

According to its website, the organizations's mission is to "to enrich the lives of North Shore residents, their families and friends by providing educational, cultural, social and recreational opportunities for people of all ages."
