Thank You, Winnetka!

On behalf of the Winnetka Caucus Council, I would like to thank the following local merchants for donating raffle prizes to our email address drive at the Sidewalk Sale last weekend: The Book Stall, Ellen’s on Elm, Grand Food Center, Noah’s Ark Pet Supplies, Marlene’s Nail Emporium, T.L. Fritt’s Sporting Goods, Trueman’s, and The Village Toy Shop. In our ongoing effort to cut costs, go digital and be green, the WCC is reaching out to all Winnetka residents to garner their email addresses so we can primarily communicate with you electronically. If you weren’t able to stop by our booth, please visit our website: www.winnetkacaucus.org and enter your email address there, the information will be used only for our purposes.

Right now caucus committees are very busy soliciting candidates for the 13 spots open on the four village boards: the Village Council, the Parks Board, the School board and the Library board. If you or anyone resident you know are interested in those positions, please let us know. The annual survey is also being readied and residents will receive notification in the mail in late August of how to electronically fill it out. As always, donations from individual residents are welcome, we have truly cut our budget to the minimum, but still need operating capital to provide you with the important information you need.
