Glencoe, Northbrook Park District Partnership a Success
Agreement between two park districts allows resident rates for other community's pool and beach passes, and has resulted in increases in use for both, 'Wilmette Life' reports.
A deal struck betweeen the Glencoe and Northbrook park districts has seen great success this summer season, according to Wilmette News.
More than 700 Northbrook residents purchased Glencoe beach passes for the 2012 season, while nearly 50 Glencoe residents bought pool passes to have access at Northbrook's two aquatic centers, the article reports.
Both communities are offering resident rates to the other as part of the agreement.

Similar partnerships between Glenview and Wilmette and Winnetka and Wilmette were terminated in the past due to lack of partication, Wilmette news reported.
