Two middle school students from Glencoe and Northfield took home medals and a handshake after a rowing victory.
Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel doled out medals to local rowers at the Chicago Back Channel Chase, which took place Oct. 23. Two lucky ladies, resident Mason Mandell and resident Cammie de Loys, participated in the middle schol rowing team affiliated with the Lincoln Park Junior (LPJ) Rowing Club.
