The Effect of Title IV on New Trier Athletes

New Trier female athletes reflect on how women generations ago didn't have the opportunities they do.

Title IV was approved by Congress in 1972 and required that participation in educational activities, including sports programs, could not be discriminated based on gender.  Girls at New Trier and across the nation have benefitted from this act of Congress, and have excelled in all athletics ever since.
