Winnetka’s North Shore Country Day School will start updating its auditorium and arts center starting June 2013 and complete the work in 2014, Winnetka Current reports.
The cost to restore and renovate the auditorium and arts center is expected to cost $8 million and will interior work such as updating life-safety systems, security improvements and more energy-efficient mechanical systems, as well as exterior work such as replacing the auditorium roof, adding air conditioning in two buildings, painting and routine maintenance, Winnetka Current reports.
North Shore Country Day School, 310 Green Bay Rd., is a private school that draws students from more than 23 suburbs and the city of Chicago.
