New Trier Welcomes Five Foreign Exchange Students

This year's students come from Norway, Sweden, France and Germany.

Five foreign exchange students for the 2013-14 school year were introduced at September's New Trier School board meetings. The students told the board that they were welcomed quickly by their classmates, and that they're very impressed with with the wide variety of clubs and sports available at the school. 

This year's students are: 

  • Oskar Norstedt from Sweden (Hosted by Julie and Steve Kaiser) 
  • Karen Heggelund from Norway (Hosted by Kathy and Chris Tucker) 
  • John-Erik Hansen from Norway (Hosted by Andrea and Glenn Ventrell) 
  • Lucie Haignere from France (Hosted by Ranell and Scott Conine)
  • Hans Scheulien from Germany (Hosted by Julie and Hans Geyer)
