All Winnetka, Glencoe, Wilmette, Northfield Schools Closed Monday

Due to the extremely cold temperatures, it seems all North Shore schools are closed on Monday, Jan. 6. 

The Emergency Closings Center has a complete list of school closings, which is also listed below.

• Greeley School
• Crow Island
• New Trier High School
• District 36
• Hadley School (opening at 10:00 a.m.)
• Hubbard Woods
• North  Shore Country Day School
• School of Saints, Faith, Hope, and Charity
• Skokie School
• Washburne School
• Winnetka Community House (building is open, classes have been cancelled)
• Winnetka-Northfield Public Library
  
• Glencoe Park District 

• Early Learning Center (ELC) and Glencoe Junior Kindergarten (GJK) classes are canceled. 
• Children's Circle will be open normal business hours (7 AM-6:30 PM)
• Before and After-School Adventures participants will be offered a full-day program, from 7 AM-6:30 PM, in Room 230 at the Takiff Center (please note, the program will not take place at Watts). 
• All other morning classes, including preschool and kindergarten enrichments, are canceled.
• Watts Ice Center rinks will be closed. 
• The Takiff Center will be open regular business hours. 
• Hatha Yoga (9:15-10:15 AM) will take place
• Open Gym will be offered (10 AM- 3PM)
• Ceramics Open Studio is canceled
