It's been an interesting month in Winnetka, Glencoe and Northfield.  The Willow Road widening debate was finally resolved, North Shore young people headed to the U.S. Olympic Trials and Red-Winged Blackbirds circled over area residents' heads in attack mode. 

In crime, a very pricey tea set was stolen from a Winnetka home, a burglar who robbed retail spots (at knife point in some cases) was nabbed by police and a police chase that started in Skokie ended in Winnetka with an arrest.
