Public Hearing: Winnetka Zoning Ordinance

The Winnetka Village Council, sitting as a Committee of the Whole, will hold a public hearing during the Council's regular meeting on Tuesday, December 7th at 7:30PM at Village Hall, 510 Green Bay Road.  The purpose of the hearing is to receive evidence and public comment on proposed amendments to the Winnetka Zoning Ordinance.  The proposed amendments would amend the standards and procedures for special use permits, in particular amending the standards and procedures for submitting a formal protest, including adding a definition of the phrase "signed and acknowledged," requiring formal protests to be submitted no later than the date of the first meeting at which the Village Council considers the special use permit, and related technical amendments to Chapters 17.56 "Special Uses," and 17.04, "Introductory Provisions and Definitions, of the Winnetka Zoning Ordinance.
