Winnetka Police Blotter: Traffic Violations, DUI, Cab Runaways, Christmas Eve Cannabis

Dec. 19

Suspended Driver's License: A 22-year-old man from Winnetka was charged with operating an uninsured vehicle and using a suspended driver's license at 2:25 p.m. at 800 Llyod Place. His court date is Feb. 8.

Dec. 20

DUI: A 44-year-old woman from Glencoe was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at 12:35 a.m. at the corner of Gage Street and Green Bay Road. Her court date is Feb. 8.

Dec. 22

Suspended Driver's License: A 26-year-old man from Waukegan was charged at 2:41 a.m. with using a suspended driver's license while driving, and he was cited for improper lane use, at the corner of Green Bay Road and Roger Avenue in Kenilworth. His court date is Jan. 13.

Dec. 23

Theft: A cab driver reported that two males failed to pay for the ride from Chicago to the 400 block of Cherry Street at 3:20 a.m. The two males allegedly said they would leave the cab to get money but never returned. The amount of loss is $56.45.

Dec. 24

Cannabis: A 21-year-old man from Berkely, CA. was charged with possession of cannabis at 1:24 a.m. at the corner of Lincoln Avenue and Summit Street. His court date is Feb. 8, 2012.
