Winnetka Police Blotter: Man Arrested for Harassment via Text Message

Oct. 7
Traffic arrest - A 31-year-old man from Wheeling was arrested for driving without a valid driver’s license. He was also cited for driving without headlights when required. This arrest was made subsequent to a traffic stop at the intersection of Hill Road and Ridge Avenue. His court date is scheduled for Nov. 22.

Oct. 4
Harassment through electronic communication - A 21-year-old Glencoe resident, was arrested for harassment via text messages. This arrest was the result of an investigation from a previous battery arrest that occurred on Sept. 24. His court date is scheduled for Oct. 26.

Oct. 3
Identity theft - A woman discovered two unauthorized withdrawals ammounting to $4,440 made from her JP Morgan Chase Bank checking account. The withdrawals occured on Sept. 13.
