Winnetka Police Blotter: Disorderly Conduct, Trespass, DUI and Burglary

EARLIER THIS WEEK:

Dec. 26

Disorderly Conduct, Trespass: A 52-year-old woman from Winnetka was charged with disorderly conduct at 1:09 p.m. on the 900 block of Spruce Street. The charge followed an investigation of a reported disturbance in the area.

She was also charged with criminal trespassing to state-supported land at 768 Oak St., which is the address for the Winnetka-Northfield Public Library. The arrest followed a previous investigation at the library where an arrest warrant was issued. Her court date was Dec. 27.

DUI: A 42-year-old man of Asbury Avenue was charged with an outside traffic warrant from Lake County for driving under the influence. charged the man at 7:53 p.m. after police observed him in Winnetka and knew he had an active warrant. His court date is Jan. 18.

Burglary: Police responded to a burglar alarm at 10:30 p.m. at 964 1/2 Green Bay Road, across from the Hubbard Woods Metra station, and discovered damage to the back door. Evidence points to burglary, though it's uncertain what property was taken. An investigation is in progress.
