Winnetka Blotter: Domestic Battery Arrests, Two Caught With Pot
A summary of incidents that occurred Jan. 24-29.
The following items are taken from Winnetka Police Department reports. In all incidents where an arrest occurred, a charge is merely an accusation and not evidence of guilt. The arrested person is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Possession of Cannabis: A 22-year-old Wilmette man was cited for possession of cannabis, driving without valid insurance and driving without a rear registration place light. He was stopped by police at 12:02 a.m. in the 900 block of Westmoor Road. His court date is March 16.

Feb. 2
Domestic Battery: A 43-year-old Winnetka man was arrested on a domestic battery charge at 2 a.m. in the 800 block of Forest Glen Drive. His court date is Feb. 7.
Feb. 1
Domestic Battery: A 43-year-old Winnetka woman was arrested on a domestic battery charge at 10:08 p.m. in the 1300 block of Sunview Lane. Her court date is Feb. 7.
Jan. 31
Traffic Arrest: A 27-year-old Blue Island man was arrested and charged with driving without a valid driver's license, and he received a citation for failing to signal and for improper lane usage. He was stopped by police at 1:27 a.m. in the 800 block of Hibbard Road. His court date is Feb. 28.
Possession of Cannabis: A 16-year-old male was cited for possession of cannabis at New Trier High School at 8:15 a.m. His court date is March 16.
