Two Arrested In Home Residency Dispute

Man, Woman Arrested In Home Residency Dispute

A Florida woman was arrested and charged with criminal trespass to a residence on Tuesday, March 19, after she attempted to take possession of a Glencoe home that she had owned from people who are living there, according to police. Eugenia M. Rindner, 65, of the 2000 block of Ocean Drive in Hallandale, FL, was also charged with theft because the tried to take the residents’ keys, police said.

Yury Katrunov, 63, of the 3900 block of Triumvera in Glenview, was also arrested in the same incident and charged with obstructing an officer of the peace.

Public safety officers were called to the scene after the residents called police to report the incident, which took place in the 1100 block of Terrace Court.

Woman Charged With Domestic Battery

A 49-year-old Glencoe woman was arrested and charged with domestic battery on Saturday, March 16, according to police. She was held overnight and released on bond Monday, March 18.

Two Car Burglaries at North Shore Congregation Israel

Someone smashed the passenger window of a car parked in the lot at North Shore Congregation Israel, 1185 Sheridan Road, between 1 and 2:13 p.m. Saturday, March 17, according to police. The car burglar stole a purple fake leather handbag valued at $10, bundles of orange and white yarn valued at $30 and knitting needles valued at $40, police said.

Someone also broke the rear passenger side window of another car parked at North Shore Congregation Israel between 12:40 and 3:49 p.m. Saturday, March 17, according to police. A black Purse valued at $1,600, a Louis Vuitton checkbook valued at $800, a Louis Vuitton wallet checkbook valued at $1,200 and $130 in cash were reported missing, police said.
