Rental Car Painted With Graffiti in Driveway
The following arrest information was supplied by the Winnetka Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Unlawful Use of Scanning Device
Mladen D. Dimitrov, 26, of Schiller Park and Petrov N. Todorov, 34, of Schiller Park were arrested on Aug. 18 for unlawful use of a scanning device, police reports state. Their court date is set for Aug. 21.
Traffic Arrest
Francisco Flores, 56, of Winnetka was arrested on Aug. 19 for driving with a suspended driver's license, improper lighting and operating a vehicle with expired registration. He was stopped on the 600 block of Green Bay Rd. His court date is set for Oct. 1.
Criminal Damage
A victim on the 700 block of Green Bay Rd. reported that on Aug. 21, she heard a loud popping noise coming from the balcony area by her French door. The victim observed her door damaged and located a rock by the door, however no one was seen in the immediate area. Repair costs are estimated at $500.
Criminal Damage
A victim on the 1100 block of Elm St. reported that between Aug. 24 and Aug. 26, an unknown offender spray painted a rental vehicle parked by the garage. Multiple colors of paint and another unknown type of liquid were used to write graffiti on the windows, police reports state. The repair cost is unknown at this time.
Theft
A victim on the 900 block of Oak St. reported that on Aug. 23, an unknown offender(s) removed a Jeep car door that was leaning against the residence. The door is described as yellow with a chrome door handle and a mirror. The amount of loss is reported at $600.
