Police: Resident Reports Coyote Impersonators in Park

The following arrest information was supplied by the Glencoe Public Safety Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Bat in the House
A bat was found in a home on the 500 block of Greenleaf Ave. on Aug. 28. Authorities were able to remove the bat. 

Coyote Impersonator 
A resident told police that she heard someone making coyote howling sounds near the intersection of Old Green Bay Rd. and Park Ave. The caller told police that she is familiar with the sound of howling coyotes and she heard someone in the park repeatedly making the sound. 

Fake ID
Ellen R. Logue, 20, of Lake Bluff is being charged with misrepresentation of age by a minor, police reports state. Logue was stopped by police at the 7-Eleven in Glencoe after she attempted to use a driver's license that she found on the ground. 

Dead Animal
A resident on the 400 block of Jefferson Ave. reported they found a dead animal in a black plastic bag in front of the house, police reports state. Police found a raccoon, which they took the freezer. 

Cat in a Tree
A resident on the 500 block of Greenleaf Ave. reported that a cat was in a tree in her yard. Police found the cat about 20 feet up in the tree. The cat was not in distress, and police advised the homeowner to lure the cat out of the tree with food. 

Resident Locked in Bathroom
A Glencoe resident called police on Sept. 1 and reported that they were locked in the bathroom in a home on the 1000 block of Hillcrest Rd. Police freed the individual. 

Chipmunk in Garage
A resident on the 1100 block of Elm Ridge Rd. reported that there was a chipmunk in her garage. Police resolved the issue. 

Bike Theft
A resident reported that their bike, worth $250, was stolen from the Glencoe Train Station, police reports state. 

Herd of Dogs
A resident reported seeing three small dogs running together near the intersection of Oak St. and Peach Tree Ln, reports state. The dogs were returned to their owners.
