Police: Car Stolen from Driveway

The following arrest information was supplied by the Winnetka Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Traffic Arrest
Keith J. Sibert, 39, of Chicago is being charged with driving without a valid driver's license, police reports state. Sibert was also cited for driving with expired registration and no proof of insurance. He was stopped on the 900 block of Green Bay Rd. on Sept. 23. 

Motor Vehicle Theft
A victim on the 1100 block of Ash St. reported that between Sept. 23 and Sept. 24, an unknown offender stole his car from the driveway, reports state. The car was locked. The amount o f loss is reported at $10,000. 

Unlawful Visitation Violation
Luz E. Lykins, 52, of Winnetka was cited on Sept. 25 for unlawful visitation interference, reports state. e was stopped on the 1200 block of Sunview Ln. on Sept. 25. 

Traffic Arrest
Marie C. Hernandez, 37, of Chicago is being charged for driving without a valid driver's license and use of a handheld cell phone while driving, police reports state. Hernandez was stopped on the 300 block of Green Bay Rd. on Sept. 26. 

Theft 
A victim on the 1200 block of Trapp Ln. reported that on Sept. 26, an unknown offender(s) removed a purple girls Schwinn bicycle with training wheels from the west parkway at Hibbard Rd., reports state. The amount of loss is reported at $130. 

Traffic Arrest
Allen M. Ferguson, 25, of Glenview was arrested on Sept. 27 at the intersection of Hibbard Rd. and Willow Rd. for driving with a suspended driver's license, police reports state. Ferguson was also cited for speeding. 

Identity Theft
A victim on the 300 block of Ridge Ave. reported that on Sept. 27, an unknown offender(s) made an unauthorized purchase on her BestBuy card, and opened several other credit card accounts without permission, reports state. The amount of loss exceeds $10,000. 

Theft
A victim on the 800 block of Pine St. reported that on Aug. 30, an unknown offender(s) removed her I-Pass from her car, reports state. The amount of loss is $50. 

Identity Theft
A victim on the 400 block of Sunset Rd. reported that on Sept. 28, an unknown offender(s) opened a BestBuy account without authorization, reports state. The account was closed, and there's no reported loss at this time. 

Theft
A victim on the 300 block of Rosewood Ave. reported that between Sept. 20 and Sept. 22, an unknown offender(s) removed $500, two spare car keys and several items of clothing from the residence, reports state. The total amount of loss is unknown at this time.
