DUI: Police found a 41-year-old Chicago woman passed out behind the wheel of her maroon Lincoln in the middle of Happ Road at Willow Road. Her car was shifted into reverse with active lights. When police woke her by tapping on the windows, her breath smelled of alcohol, and she had a blood alcohol content of .121. She was given a $3,000 i-bond and a Sept. 1 court date.

Identity theft: More than $11,000 was stolen from an elderly resident of the 1700 block of Northfield Square. He was tricked into providing credit card information and his social security number when someone called saying he had won money but needed to send a portion of it back via Western Union. Some of the charges were not completed because of suspected fraudulent activity by the receiver. Cash advances, however, were drawn from the credit cards. The case is under investigation.
