Northfield Police Blotter: Burglary, Reckless Driving

The following arrest information was supplied by the Northfield Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

LAST WEEK:

Dec. 26

Reckless driving: Police stopped a 41-year-old Glenview man for driving 68 mph in a 35-mph zone in the 500 to 700 blocks of West Frontage Road. They discovered his license had been suspended, but he had a permit to drive. He was released on a $1,500 i-bond. His court date is Feb. 21.

Dec. 27

Burglary: Administrators at Lake Forest Hearing Professionals (330 W Frontage Rd.) discovered that cash was missing from their office. were unable to give a specific number, but said it was in the hundreds, not thousands, of dollars. There was no sign of forced entry, and no alarms sounded. There are number of parties who have keys to the office. The case is under investigation.

Burglary from motor vehicle: Police found that someone had smashed the passenger window of a car parked in the 500 block of West Frontage Road. A radar detector valued at $399.99 was missing.
