New Trier Teens Cited for Pot Possession

Cannabis possession

Griffin T. Burns, 18; Dylan J. Reubenson, 18; Hayes F. Williams, 18; all of Chicago, and a 17-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy, both from New Trier Township, were cited for possession of cannabis Feb. 2 at 2 a.m. in the 800 block of Mt. Pleasant Rd. Their court date is Feb. 18.

Theft

Someone stole two prescription bottles of medicine from a residence in the 1300 block of Sunview Lane Jan. 27. Loss is estimated at $43.

Identity theft

A victim said someone made unauthorized purchases with his credit card totaling $133.23 on Jan. 30. The credit card was canceled.

A victim reported discovering that someone had tried to open a bank account using the victim’s personal information. The account was not opened and there was no loss of money.
