Lifted Hydrangea, iPad and Nintendo Wii Swiped

Cannabis Activity

A 15-year-old male was cited for possession of cannabis on Sept. 20 at 3:45 p.m. in the 300 block of Winnetka Ave. The juvenile's court date is set for Oct. 25. 

Criminal Damage

A victim reported an unknown offender damaged the perimeter wood fence on the west side of their property in the 500 block of Meadow Lane. The damage reportedly occurred sometime between Sept. 24 at 9 a.m. and Sept. 26 at 4:30 p.m. The cost of repair has not been determined. 

A village employee discovered an unknown individual used red spray paint to deface the sidewalk and a wooden bench in the 1100 block of Willow Rd. on Sept. 28 at 5:45 p.m. The cost of repair is estimated at $200.

Theft

A victim reported a hydrangea bush was removed from the front lawn in the 1100 block of Scott Ave. on Sept. 25 between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. The amount of the loss is estimated at $150. 

A victim reported a gold bracelet, a white Apple iPad with a black cover, a Ninetendo Wii game with a "Skyward Sword" (The Legend of Zelda) and $15 in U.S. currency were stolen in the 200 block of Linden St. on Sept. 26 sometime between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. The amount of the loss is estimated at $1065. 

Traffic Arrest

Jorges Jaimes, 43, of the 5600 block of Keeler Ave., Chicago, was arrested for driving with a revoked driver's license, and cited for speeding in the 100 block of Linden St. on Sept. 26 at 4:11 p.m. After stopping Jaimes, police learned he was wanted on a Niles Police Department warrant, according to the report. His court date is set for Oct. 25. 

Luis E. Garcia-Patino, 25, of the 300 block of Lincoln, Mundelein, was arrested for driving without a valid driver's license and for speeding. His court date is set for Nov. 13.
