Glencoe Police Rescue Dog from Icy Pond, Lurking Coyotes

The pet dog was chased across a golf course by coyotes Sunday.

Glencoe police rescued a pet dog from an icy pond after coyotes chased it across a golf course Sunday morning, Glencoe News reported.

Glencoe resident Peggy Bobrow told Glencoe News that she was walking the dog off-leash on the frozen turf of Skokie Country Club when coyotes chased the dog, then the dog was in an opening in the pond with four coyotes surrounding it. The dog was later rescued and rejuvenated with a bowl of warm milk.
