Four Car Accident Leads to DUI Arrest

The following reports were provided by the Northfield Police Department. Arrests and charges are accusations, and do not indicate guilt.

DUI
On Oct. 15, Jose A. Hernandez Fuentes, 36, of Chicago, was charged with illegal transportation of alcohol, DUI and failure to reduce speed after he was involved in a four vehicle accident on the 1800 block of Willow Road, according to police. 

On Oct. 13, Edwyn Pasillas, 28, of Palatine, was seen driving through a stop sign off the Edens exit ramp by an officer, according to police. He was arrested near the intersection of Willow Road and Latrobe Avenue, and charged with DUI, disobeying a stop sign and having an unsafe tire, police say. 

On Oct. 8, Sheila S. Delaney, 51, of Highland Park, was charged with arrested after an accident on Frontage Road south of Tower Road, according to police. She was charged with DUI, following too closely and driving without insurance, according to police.

Suspicious Person
On Oct. 14, an employee on the 300 block of S. Happ Road reported an unknown person looking through a window into her office, according to police. The person then ran out of the building, responding officers were unable to locate anyone but made sure the building was secure, police say. 

Burglary
On Oct. 13, someone reported a generator had gone missing from their locked garage at some point after July, though there were no signs of forced entry, according to police.
