9 Vehicles Burglarized on Riverside Drive, Pistol Stolen from Northfield Home

A 9mm semiautomatic pistol valued at $500 was stolen from a home in the 500 block of N. Happ road between Sept. 24 and Oct. 23, according to police. 

Residential Burglary

A French door was broken inside a home in the 200 block of Shadow Woods Lane on Oct. 20. The victim told police the front door was unlocked and nothing was taken. The cost to repair the French door was estimated at $1,000. Police are still investigating. 

Nine Vehicles Burglarized on Riverside Drive

During the overnight hours of Oct. 23, seven unlocked vehicles were burglarized in the 100 to 200 block of Riverside Drive, police said. 

A GPS valued at $100, prescription pills, $50 in cash, a tool battery valued at $45, an Ipod Nano valued at $150, a Blackberry phone and unknown amount of change were among the items stolen from four vehicles, police said. The other five vehicles were rummaged through but nothing was reported missing, according to the police report. 

Two Cars Burglarized on Graemere Street 

A GPS valued at $250 was stolen from a vehicle parked in the 200 block of Graemere Street during the overnight hours of Oct. 23 and 24. Another vehicle burglarized on the same street around the same time reported nothing miss, but items were thrown above the vehicle and scattered on the floor, police said. 

Car Burglarized at Sunset Ridge Country Club

About $30 in cash, drivers license, credit and debit cards were stolen from an unlocked car parked at Sunset Ridge Country Club between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Oct. 25. Unauthorized charges greater than $3,000 were made on the stolen cards and the case is under investigation, according to police. 

Vehicles Burglarized on Harding Road

An insurance card and AAA card was stolen from two vehicle parked in the 1700 block of Harding Road during the overnight hours of Oct. 20 and 21. 

Criminal Damage to Property

A mailbox post was broken in the 300 block of Shadow Woods Lane during the overnight hours of Oct. 20 and 21. The damage was estimated at $680.
