Obituary: New Trier Grad, 25, Was Master Mason, Eagle Scout

Christopher Patrick Alonzi age 25 of Glenview, died after year and half battle with leukemia and its complications. 

Christopher was a graduate of DePauw University in Greencastle, IN with a degree in Geology and honors in History. He currently was a graduate student at Dominican University in River Forest, IL. 

Christopher was active in Boy Scouts of America, attaining the rank of Eagle Scout. He was also Order of the Arrow Vigil Honor and Lodge Chief. He was a Master Mason, avid cyclist and a member of Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity. 

Beloved son of Loreto Peter II and Mary Alonzi nee Sievers; loving brother of Loreto Peter III (Beth Bollwerk) and Nicholas (fiancé Laura Andersen); devoted grandson of August and Rosemary Sievers and the late Saverio Joseph, Sr. and the late Sheila McEnery Alonzi; dear nephew of Daniel (Kim) Alonzi, Mary (Marc) Anderson, Saverio, Jr (Judy) Alonzi, Suzanne (Mark) Bustamante, Anne (Chee) Aw, Cathy (Adam) Gill, August III (Lori) Sievers, John Sievers, Tom (Ann) Sievers and Robert Sievers; also survived by many cousins and friends.
