Open Book: Blue Balliett Author Program

Glencoe welcomes Blue Balliett, Chicago’s own award-winning children’s book author of such favorites as Chasing Vermeer and The Wright 3.  Her latest mystery, Hold Fast, hit the New York Times Bestseller List and has received glowing reviews in the Times and the Chicago Tribune.  Copies of Blue’s novels will be available for sale by The Book Stall.  Light refreshments will be served.  To accommodate a large audience, this special event will be hosted in the Community Hall at the Takiff Center.

For children ages 8 and up with parent or caregiver. This program is jointly presented by the Glencoe Public Library and the Glencoe Park District.
