Community Corner

Homecoming Sunday at Lake Shore Unitarian

Lake Shore Unitarian Society is kicking off its 50th Anniversary in the North Shore community by welcoming Rev. Dr. Nicole Kirk, who teaches the history of Unitarian Universalism to students at Meadville Lombard Theological School.

Guests are invited to hear Dr. Kirk speak about the importance of the concept of “Homecoming" during the first fall service on Sunday, September 8th, from 10:30am to 11:30am at the Winnetka Community House, located at 620 Lincoln Ave., Winnetka, IL 60093.

During the discourse, children ages 0-15 may attend

age-appropriate religious education programming. This year, Lake Shore’s religious education program focuses on stories from the Judeo-Christian and

other religious traditions.
