Nov 16th is Family Art Day at Winnetka Community Nursery School (free & open to the public)

Winnetka Community Nursery School will host its Annual Family Art Day –
Saturday, November 16th, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The public is welcome to this wonderful
event, which will be hosted at the school’s location of 800 Pine Street,
Winnetka, IL 60093.

Family Art Day is a great way for parents and young children
to learn about art through age appropriate experiences. The school classrooms
and playground are turned into open studios for children and adults to
experiment, explore, and learn together while creating sculptures, weavings,
paintings, collages and prints of all types. Winnetka Community Nursery School
faculty will provide guidance for the artists, but it is the artists (the
families and children!) that lead and truly make this event spectacular. Art day is open to the public for children 2 to third grade (children must be
accompanied by an adult) – we invite everyone to attend including family, friends,
and neighbors and get messy!

Don’t miss this wonderful opportunity.  Dress for mess!  Questions? Call Kathy Hardy, Director at 847-446-4432
