Man Arrested for Garage Burglary

Burglary
Kevin T. Miner, 18, of Winnetka is being charged with burglary, police reports state. The arrest was made on July 15 on the 400 block of Rosewood Ave., subsequent to an investigation of a suspicious person seen by an officer walking out of an open garage. His court date is set for July 16. 

Traffic Arrest
German Flores, 43, of Chicago is being charged with driving without a valid driver's license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle, police reports state. The arrest was made subsequent to a traffic crash investigation on the 600 block of Green Bay Rd. The court date is set for August 19. 

Theft
A victim on the 300 block of Sheridan Rd. discovered that between July 15 and July 16, an unknown offender(s) removed her white and lime green badminbadton set with rackets in a tan basket from her yard. The amount of loss is reported at $60. 

Traffic Arrest
Heather A. Rangel, 30, of Wheeling is being charged with driving with a suspended driver's license and operating a vehicle with suspended registration, police reports state. Rangel was stopped by police on the 1100 block of Tower Rd. Her court date is set for August 19. 

Burglary to Motor Vehicle
A victim on the 500 block of Hibbard Rd. reported that on July 17, an unknown offender(s) smashed the front side passenger window and removed an IL driver's license and currency from the vehicle, police reports state. The amount of loss is reported at $50, the repair cost is $1000.
