Flooding Closes Roads, Schools in Winnetka, Glencoe and Northfield

Flooding has shut down parts of Fuller Lane and Winnetka Public Schools are closed.

Waters caused by a major Wednesday night rainstorm have led to Fuller Lane in Winnetka being under 2-3 feet of water.

Winnetka Public Schools, District 36, as well as Winnetka Community Nursing School, are also closed due to the flooding.

The Village of Winnetka emailed residents on Thursday to let residents know that village crews are fully deployed to ensure that drains are open and clear of debris and pump stations are continuously operating.
