FEMA Deadline is July 9

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has begun meeting with disaster applicants and are reviewing damage caused by flooding last April, according to the Village of Winnetka website. Residents seeking assistance must register with FEMA before July 9.

Individuals requesting assistance can do so online here or by calling (800) 621-3362.

The Village website notes that all FEMA federal and state officials will always have an ID available. If someone representing themselves as a federal or state employee, ask to see their identification. To see what to expect during a FEMA home inspection, click here.
