VIDEO: Business Owners Talk Shop at Winnetka-Northfield Sidewalk Sale
Local businesses, vendors fill streets with bargains.
The Winnetka-Northfield Chamber of Commerce held its annual summer sidewalk sale on Friday and Saturday. Businesses and vendors took up the sidewalks of Northfield's shopping district as well as the shopping district near Hubbard Woods and on West and East Elm Street.
A new addition this year was the held Saturday afternoon. The fair strived to shove easy ways people could be more environmentally conscious, such as using compact florescent light bulbs, a showcase of bicycles, a fresh foods cooking demonstration, and more.
