Peek Into Northfield's Newest Taqueria

Taco Nano has opened it's doors, featuring freshly-made fares. Take a look at some of the specialities here!

Taco Nano is bringing homemade Mexican fares — like authentic mole sauce, guacamole and tortillas — to the North Shore in its new Northfield location at 1743 Orchard Ln. The menu features a variety of creative tacos, such as the Pork Al Pastor (with layered pork, onion and pineapple piico de gallo, cilantro and friend jalapeno rings) and the Vegetariano (with crispy potatoes, poblano rajas, portobello mushrooms, cotija cheese and cilantro-lime crema).

The restaurant is the brainchild of chef Freddy Sanchez, who has previously held chef positions at Food Life and Scoozi, was corporate chef of Adobo Grill and currently is the executive chef at the Happ Inn in Northfield.

Patch will be bringing you the whole story later this week, but for now feast your eyes (literally) on our peak into the restaurant, which opened in January. Have you tried it yet? Let us know your favorite dish in the comments!
