The Volunteer Center will celebrate Volunteer Madness by paying tribute to its own Final Four at 7 pm, Saturday, March 10th at the Takiff Center in Glencoe. Join us for a tailgate dinner, silent auction and raffle and help us to honor our 2012 award recipients: Nicole Basil for youth volunteerism, Jake Joehl for disability awareness, Louise Holland for a lifetime of service, and Make it Better for its dedication to Civic Engagement. Consider placing a tribute in the Volunteer Center program book to honor one of our award recipients or anyone dedicated to Volunteerism. Deadline for tribute submission is February 24th. The Volunteer Center is a full-service resource for people of all ages who seek to help those in need in New Trier Township and greater N.E. Metropolitan Chicago. The VC helps nearly 11,000 volunteers engage in service programs with over 200 nonprofits, and also sponsors community education events and days of service throughout the year.
