Bella Gypsy Moving to New Location

Bella Gypsy, a clothing boutique in Hubbard Woods, will be moving to a new Winnetka location (at 809 Oak St.) later this month. It's final day in its current location will be August 14.

The rent moved up in her current location, causing her to decide to move.

"We have some amazing ideas [for the new location]," said Courtney Kafkis, owner of Bella Gypsy. "We're going to make it vintage-y!"

Kafkis noted that while the process of moving buildings is stressful, she hopes that the move results in more people from Winnetka - as well as people from Wilmette - learning about the store.

Bella Gypsy was formerly located at 340 Tudor Rd. in Glencoe. It's been at its current Winnetka location since 2010.

Kafkis hopes to have the new location open by August 20.
