In the swimming pool, Matt Grevers’ victories for Team USA had him bringing home two gold and one silver medal this summer, just as he did in 2008. U.S. team member Annie Chandler brought home her fifth-place accomplishment in the 100-meter breaststroke. The pair became engaged this past February, when Matt proposed to Annie after taking first place honors in a race at the Missouri Grand Prix.

Chandler attended the University of Arizona, where she was a member of the 2007-2008 NCAA championship swim team, three-time All American and held the NCAA record for the 2000-meter medley relay. Grevers swam for Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill., and is a four-time NCAA champion and 27-time All American.
