Rich Cohen's new book about the iconic 1985 Chicago Bears will be published in October.

New York Times best-selling author Rich Cohen, a native of Glencoe, has written a new book about the 1985 Chicago Bears, reported the Chicago Sun-Times.

Monsters: The 1985 Chicago Bears and the Wild Heart of Football, will be released Oct. 29.

According to the book's description on Amazon.com, Monsters is the "gripping account of a once-in-a-lifetime football team and their lone championship season."

Cohen, who now lives in Connecticut, was a high school senior when the Bears won the 1985 Superbowl, reported the Sun-Times.

For his book, "superfan" Cohen tracked down the coaches and players to interview them on that legendary football season, according to his website.
