New Trier Food Pantry Prepares For Thanksgiving

Between November 19 and 25, volunteers are invited to support the New Trier Township Food Pantry by donating a basket or bag of fresh produce.

Between November 19 and 25, volunteers are invited to support the New Trier Township Food Pantry by donating a basket or bag of fresh produce to the pantry, located at 793 Elm St. in Winnetka.

This is a treat for the pantry users, as nonperishable items are necessary to stock the shelves the rest of the year. This is a special week to enjoy fresh fruits and vegetables. 

Items to put in your produce bag or basket donation includes: Non-perishable fruits, oranges, clementines, apples, pineapples. Veggies such as squashes, beans, broccoli, brussel sprouts, potatoes coffee, tea, salad dressings, salsa, cookies, crackers, chocolates, nuts, shampoo/conditioner, body wash.
