Frank Lloyd Wright designed more homes in Glencoe than any community except Oak Park and Chicago. Many of them are located in the Ravine Bluffs subdivision in northeast Glencoe.

After four decades at the Glencoe Historical Society and eight years on the village's Board of Trustees, Ellen Shubart has stepped down from public life, but she's staying active as a tour guide for the Chicago Architecture Foundation.
